Last weekend, Chase and I had a tasty brunch at Tap 42. Tap 42 is one of my go-to spots in Boca Raton, but this was my first time experiencing their brunch - and it was amazing!
Starting with Shrimp Cocktail
Chase and I are both fans of shrimp cocktail, so we had to start out with this delicious appetizer! The shrimp were perfectly chilled and exceptionally fresh, served with a cocktail sauce and a stone crab mustard sauce, that I personally liked better than the cocktail sauce. Each bite was a delightful blend of tender shrimp and zesty flavor, making it the perfect appetizer to stimulate our taste buds.
Main Course: Chicago Style Steak and Eggs
For the main course, I opted for the Chicago Style Steak & Eggs, a classic brunch favorite. The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Paired with perfectly cooked eggs (I opted for scrambled instead of sunny side up), this dish was a harmonious blend of savory and rich tastes.
Main Course: Wagyu Steak & Noodle Bowl
Chase isn't as big of a fan of brunch as I am, so he chose the Wagyu Steak & Noodle Bowl. I had a few bites and it was equally impressive as my Steak & Eggs. The bowl was filled with fresh ingredients, featuring perfectly seared steak, vibrant vegetables, and a flavorful fresh lo mein base, tossed in a Samurai Sauce that tied the whole dish together. Each component complemented the others, creating a dish that was both satisfying and healthy.
Espresso Martinis: The Perfect Finish
To accompany our meal, we decided to try the espresso martinis, and they did not disappoint. The martinis were expertly crafted, with a smooth blend of rich espresso and just the right amount of sweetness. They provided a delightful caffeine kick and served as a perfect ending to our meal, leaving us both energized and satisfied.

Tap 42 exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed.
